This is not to say that I don’t think that the tutorials out there are good. They are very good and very necessary and I recommend going through as many as you can get your hands on so you can see what some capabilities of the program are and so you can gain some control over your own creations.

First off, emergence, simply put - and believe me it’s very complex, is when you have simple entities who operate in an environment, forming more complex behaviors as a collective. A good visual would be a school of fish or a flock of birds.

I believe that emergence is a display of living fractals. And like fractals, there is order and chaos associated with the collective group.
